About On-Demand

As an On-Demand team member (TM), you have the flexibility to work as much or as little as you like. Your schedule may vary based on shift availability and store needs. This role is perfect for those seeking a personalized work schedule.

As an On-Demand TM, you have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members through our myTime mobile scheduling app. Regular communication and active engagement in picking up and working shifts are necessary for success in this role. If we do not receive a response to our communication attempts, your employment with Target will be terminated.

You must work at least one shift within 6 months to maintain your employment with Target.

Upon being hired as an On-Demand TM, you will attend a Target Welcome orientation and undergo a structured training schedule to prepare you for your role. After training, you can pick up shifts through the myTime mobile scheduling app.

About Service & Engagement

As a Guest Advocate, you will play a vital role in creating an inclusive and exceptional guest experience. You will welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery. You will also promote physical and digital services and solutions, providing knowledge about offerings to drive adoption, usage, and guest loyalty.

Your responsibilities as a Guest Advocate may include:

• Delivering exceptional guest service by adhering to service standards
• Greeting and observing guests to understand their needs
• Engaging with guests, asking questions to better understand their specific needs
• Being knowledgeable about products, services, and offerings in the store to improve the guest experience
• Assisting guests with applications and benefits, such as the Target RedCard and Target App
• Handling returns and resolving guest concerns
• Providing seamless service in order pick-up, drive-up, and registry areas
• Maintaining a clean work area and complying with safety policies
• Supporting order pick-up and drive-up services while complying with relevant laws
