As an On-Demand team member, you have the freedom to choose how much or how little you want to work based on your availability and store needs. This personalized work schedule is perfect for those seeking flexibility.

As an On-Demand team member, you won't be assigned a fixed weekly schedule. Instead, you can create your own schedule by picking up shifts that work best for you through our myTime mobile scheduling app. It is crucial that you actively engage by responding to our communication attempts and picking up shifts.

Regular attendance is important, and you must work at least one shift within 6 months to maintain your employment with Target.

If offered a position as an On-Demand team member, you will attend a Target Welcome orientation and undergo short-term structured training to ensure you are fully prepared for your new role.

What You'll Do as a Guest Advocate:

• Create an inclusive guest experience by welcoming and assisting guests
• Listen to and understand guest needs, providing helpful solutions and resolving concerns
• Learn about Target's products, services, and offerings to assist guests effectively
• Promote Target RedCard and educate guests about its benefits
• Scan and bag items efficiently, maintaining food safety standards
• Provide seamless service to Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests
• Maintain a clean work area and stocked supplies
• Comply with safety protocols and ethical conduct

• Adaptability to evolving technology and working both independently and as part of a team

The Basics:

• Accurate handling of cash transactions
• Ability to lift and move merchandise, up to 15 pounds frequently and up to 40 pounds occasionally
• Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Active engagement required as an On-Demand team member, picking up and working shifts through the myTime mobile app. Failure to respond to communication attempts may lead to termination of employment
