Outside Salesperson - #251462

We are seeking a Full-Time Outside Salesperson to handle the sales of industrial, environmental, and grounds maintenance services.

The coverage area is PA, NJ, DE, MD, CT, and NY. All sales are business-to-business, institutional, and/or municipal.

A company vehicle is provided!

Salary is $1,250.00 a week plus commission.

Candidate Will

• Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business
• Develop and maintain knowledge of services and pricing structure
• Develop knowledge of route structure
• Determine customer needs and propose appropriate services for their needs
• Conduct cold calls and prospecting activities to get a foot in the door
• Prepare and deliver sales proposals and presentations to decision-makers
• Propose customer solutions that are compliant with local, state, and federal regulations
• Secure customer signatures on contracts
• Turn in customer changes, new starts/stops paperwork in a timely manner
• Make an occasional call on past-due balances to obtain payment
• Handle customer complaints that cannot be resolved at the call-in level / find resolution between customer and our company
  
  

Candidate Should

• Have good time-management skills
• Have presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
• Be able to communicate in a professional manner – both verbally and in writing
• Have strong listening skills/grasp concepts easily so that he/she can interact with customers and co-workers
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous cold calling experience is necessary
• Previous outside sales experience is necessary
• Experience in the waste and recycling industries is helpful
• Valid driver's license with good driving record is required
  
  

Working Conditions: Traveling to and from customer leads, very little office time, prolonged daily traveling/in-vehicle

Work Attire: Casual to Business, depending on audience

Base Pay: $1,250.00/week (paid weekly)

Commission Structure: 2.5% to 5% on both one-time and recurring work
