Your Responsibilities
As a Materials Engineering Part-Time Student for JD Dubuque Works located in Dubuque, IA, you will:
- Materials Engineering Laboratory work.
- Cutting and polishing metal parts, basic chemical testing and paint testing.
- Creating reports of testing and presentations of projects.
What Skills You Need
- Chemistry or Material related school work completed.
- Able to use powerpoint, word, excel with intermediate mastery.
- Experience working with diverse teams
- Working towards a degree in Engineering.
- Ideally completing sophomore or junior year.
- Ability to work 16-20 hours during the academic year
- Ability to work 30-40 hours during the summer semester
- Laboratory experience, welding and metal working experience.
- Interest in Material Science
