A well-established and respected full-service AmLaw 200 firm is seeking an experienced Intellectual Property (Patent) Paralegal to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in patent filings, docket management, and international coordination.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and adept at supporting a busy IP practice with minimal oversight.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, file, and manage U.S. and international patent applications (provisional, non-provisional, and PCT).
- Draft and file Information Disclosure Statements (IDS), assignments, and other patent prosecution documents.
- Calculate and manage docketing deadlines, pulling from drives and databases as needed.
- Coordinate with the USPTO, international patent offices, foreign associates, inventors, and clients.
- Support attorneys with patent litigation, portfolio management, and legal research.
- Maintain accurate case records and organize electronic and physical files.
- Track and record 7.5 hours daily (billable and non-billable), aiming for 1200 billable hours annually.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a patent paralegal in a law firm or in-house legal department.
- In-depth knowledge of U.S. and international patent filing procedures and requirements.
- Proficiency with IP docketing systems (e.g., Foundation IP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Paralegal certification strongly preferred.
