GI Alliance is seeking an experienced Pathology Technician/Technologist .

Duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Position purpose

The Pathology Technicians main responsibility is to perform all functions in the histology lab to include embedding, microtomy, staining and filing.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks

• Must be proficient in the following areas:
• Embedding
• Microtomy
• Routine Staining
• Special Staining/immunohistochemistry
• File slides, block and paperwork in alpha-numeric order
• Equipment use and quality control
• Perform related duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

Qualifications

Education: HT or HTL (ASCP) or eligible required.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in histology preferred. Anatomic Pathology experience required.
