Arrow Ford in Abilene, Texas, is seeking a Payroll and Benefits Clerk to serve our staff of 200 employees as part of our incredible business office team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing payroll processes and ensuring accurate financial records. Your contributions are vital in supporting our commitment to our mission - to help others so that they can accomplish their goals.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time.
• Maintain employee records related to payroll and benefits.
• Perform data entry tasks related to payroll processing.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts related to payroll transactions.
• Prepare journal entries for payroll-related expenses.
• Assist with accounts receivable as needed to support financial operations.
• Analyze payroll data to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in payroll processing or a similar role required.
• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with general ledger accounting principles.
• Experience with ADP or similar payroll software is a plus.
• Basic understanding of financial concepts and accounting practices.
