We are seeking an enthusiastic Maintenance Director to join our Physical Plant Department at The Park at Laguna Springs!

Who You Are

You enjoy maintenance and effectively troubleshooting day-to-day issues. This role tracks and completes physical plant services to maintain the building and grounds of the community.

What You'll Do

  • This position is a hands-on Physical Plant Director position who will routinely complete small and large maintenance tasks on the community premises
  • Direct, coordinate, and complete physical plant services to maintain the building and grounds of the community
  • Routinely inspect the physical plant and provide routine preventative maintenance within acceptable standards of practice
  • Routinely coordinate, direct, and document required fire drills and fire drill training
  • Establish and maintain a schedule of service of equipment and systems
  • Maintain outside yard care, whether performed by facility staff or contract service
  • Maintain facility to meet all regulatory requirements
  • Painting inside and outside
  • Maintain community building to meet all regulatory requirements
  • Supervises Housekeeping Staff and Maintenance Assistant (if applicable)
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Possess the diagnostic and mechanical skills and abilities necessary for accomplishing repairs on systems and buildings
  • Supervisory skills and experience
  • Must be drug-free and submit to drug screening upon hire and routinely
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public
