Math Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Reasoning Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations at the plant including cost accounting, and accounts payable/receivable.
- Ensure accuracy of standard costs and conduct variance analysis (material, labor, overhead, PPV, etc.).
- Partner with plant operations to understand and improve cost drivers and manufacturing efficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Support internal and external audits, providing documentation and explanations as needed.
- Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes and systems.
- Payroll: Prepares data for entry and posts to payroll records. Updates payroll reports for Fort Wayne and North Carolina as necessary. Tracks down employees/supervisors to verify discrepancy in hours and/or questionable info documented in Epicor.
- Accounts Receivable: Compiles and sorts documents such as invoices and packing lists to substantiate business transactions. Attaches packing list to associated invoice. Enters vouchers, invoices, payments, credits, and other records into computer for EDI invoicing or payment, or for standard mail. Invoicing of all A/R receipts. Review and collection of past due accounts receivable.
- Accounting: Prepares and submits various tax returns as needed. Assists with preparing monthly financial statements. Balances and monitors cash accounts daily.
- Account Payable: Enters incoming invoices, checks vendors statements, and reconcile. Files correspondence and/or reports as needed.
