THE POSITION
PLT Curing ASD Setup Tech Lead
*Curing Setup Techs are getting assigned to tasks by the Curing Supervisor at beginning of the shift, such as Change Molds, Build Bladder, Change Bladder, Chase Scrap or Head Mold Man/ Woman.
*Mold Changes are performed i.g. in a 2 person team, taking out the off scheduled equipment (Bladder, Mold, PI chucks) and install equipment as scheduled. The operation requires fine operation of a Fork Truck.
*Building Bladder consists of stripping down old Bladder Assemblies, clean equipment and build up new Bladder Assembly, taking Bladder and Bladder items as specified. Bladder usage have to be documented, Bladder cards to be filled.
*Changing Bladder is taking Bladder out of the press, bring to the Buildup Table and install the new assembly by using a Fork truck. Counter resetting in SFI and on press, placement of new Bladder card is required.
*The Head Mold Man/ Woman is setting up the press after Mold Changes including Loader, Unloader and PI setup, key in recipe, filling of spec card, curing of 1st tire and initiating 1st Tire check. Performing of activities from Flash rack and Flash Audits.
*Chasing Scrap consists of analyzing Scrap Trends of the previous shift, updating the Scrap Communication Board in the BT 1 room, track arising Scrap during the shift and initiate actions to resolve the Scrap including taking calls from 100% Inspectors or Classifier on arising Scrap.
*Assistance of the Curing Supervisor on any other assigned task.

Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED and 2 years Curing Experience
Authorization to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous manufacturing experience or Associates Degree
5 Years Curing Experience
Leadership Experience
