Position Overview
As a Pool Monitor, you’ll be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and enjoyable pool environment for residents. You’ll ensure all safety equipment is readily available and that pool regulations are followed to provide a secure and welcoming experience.
Work Schedule
- Opening Season: Memorial Day Weekend
- Monday – Saturday: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Sunday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Final Week of the Season: Labor Day Weekend
- Greet residents warmly and provide respectful, friendly assistance in the pool area.
- Enforce all pool rules and regulations to maintain safety.
- Monitor and adjust pool temperature as needed.
- Perform routine pool maintenance, including vacuuming, cleaning skimmer baskets, backwashing filters, and skimming debris.
- Oversee resident entry and exit, ensuring the pool does not exceed state-mandated capacity limits.
- Regularly inspect and maintain safety equipment, including first aid kits.
- Keep pool bathrooms stocked, clean, and free of standing water.
- Sweep the pool deck and surrounding areas daily to maintain cleanliness.
- Organize and straighten pool furniture, ensuring all items are clean and in good condition.
- Verify pool tags against the master list to confirm resident access.
- Report any issues or concerns to the Property Manager or Maintenance Supervisor.
- Assist in maintaining the clubhouse and surrounding common areas as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the community.
- Must be able to swim.
- High School Diploma or GED (Preferred) / Some High School Education (Required).
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Flexibility to respond to community needs outside of regular hours.
- Hourly Pay: $15.00
- Job Type: Temporary (Summer Position)
