Selrico Services Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Prep Cook to join our team at our Cafe in North Charleston, South Carolina. As a Prep Cook, you will be responsible for preparing daily menu items and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. This individual contributor role offers a competitive salary of $16 per hour and is a full time position with weekly pay. Compensation & Benefits:

- Prepare all menu items in a timely and accurate manner
- Follow recipes and portion controls to ensure consistency and quality of food
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including proper sanitization of food preparation areas and equipment
- Stock and rotate ingredients as necessary
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
- Collaborate with the rest of the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Ensure adherence to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Any other duties as assigned by management
- R.E.A.L. ID: REAL ID | Homeland Security (dhs.gov)
- Knowledge of proper food handling and safety procedures; must obtain food handler certificate
- Must clear a Military background check
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
