THE WORK
- Interface with industry suppliers in requesting and receiving quotations that will support LM proposal efforts.
- Create Request For Quotes (RFQ) in LM procurement system (LMP2P) to all available vendors.
- This position will also be responsible for all follow-up communication with vendors on drawing or requirements questions and ensure pricing is input in LMP2P correctly.
- Analyze vendor responses to RFQ to compare to proposal needs, and maximize vendor competitions where possible.
- Perform material cost estimating administrative tasks as needed.
