Key Responsibilities
Assembly Tasks
- Assemble various components using blueprints, hand tools, and pneumatic tools, performing tasks like wiring, bolting, aligning, and torquing.
- Pre-assemble parts such as engines, water pumps, transmissions, and blade guards.
- Ensure precise fit and finish, applying decals and paint touch-ups as needed.
- Test finished equipment to confirm proper functionality.
- Complete inspection checklists and notify supervisors for final approval.
- Prepare products for shipment, including crating, boxing, and adding necessary materials.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and report tool repair needs.
- Suggest improvements to processes and specifications.
- Follow all safety procedures and report any concerns.
- Experience: 1–2 years in mechanical assembly, with a background in automotive or engine repair a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency with hand tools, the ability to read blueprints and follow instructions, and a mechanical aptitude.
- Physical Abilities: Capable of standing for long periods and using pneumatic tools with short-duration vibrations.
- Traits: Detail-oriented, accurate, and eager to learn specialized processes like electrical wiring.
