Description
Total Wine & More is seeking a talented Product Manager, Supply Chain Initiatives to join our growing Supply Chain & Merchandising team in our Bethesda, MD office. Our team leads the Total Wine & More supply chain and merchandising management systems (planning, purchasing, catalog, trading partner, inventory management, etc.). We are in the midst of a multi-year transformation of our systems and processes with a focus on user experience, process scalability.
We are looking for a Product Manager who is passionate about user experiences, energetic design thinkers, self-driven technologists, and smart strategists. In addition to scrum agile product management ceremonies and techniques, you should be familiar with demand planning & replenishment planning business processes and systems (i.e. SAP, Relex, Blue Yonder or o9). You’ll need to be as comfortable talking to developers in our Agile teams as you are communicating with our partners in demand, supply and replenishment planning who use our o9 planning system day in and day out.
Our Product Manager works closely with business stakeholders and agile teams to build out high-value features and processes that meet customer needs and drive efficiency. This position reports to the Director of Product Management.

The exempt compensation range for this position is $77,100 - $171,000. You will
- Work with business and vendor partners to understand existing processes and pain points, applying targeted techniques to define efficient and effective user experiences which drive desired outcomes.
- Learn the implemented o9 planning processes and features in use at Total Wine, as well as draw from your experience to help extend and optimize our processes and functionality.
- Effectively run workshops to drive the definition and alignment of the vision, objectives, requirements and key expectations around the product you are delivering.
- Utilize data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop business cases, and communicate data insights to others.
- Demonstrate a record of success collaborating on and launching successful features.
- You’re going to be responsible for delivering an experience, so you must have worked in a product group focusing on web or mobile applications for at least 5+ years.
- Effectively turn the vision you clearly articulated into simple, intuitive stories and user flows
- Assist in managing and prioritizing new requests and manage the backlog by prioritizing and grooming stories based on value and strategic priorities.
- Collaborating with your partners to provide leadership and direction to agile teams in building effective products to support our future growth.
- Ability to drive user adoption of new products.
- Demand and Replenishment Planning process and system experience
- 5+ years of agile software product management or equivalent experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Retail & Supply Chain System or related experiences is preferred.
- Experience managing agile delivery tools (Miro, Mural, JIRA, Confluence, etc.) is preferred.
