General Summary

As part of our Product and Technology Product Marketing team you will be responsible for our Snapdragon Camera and Snapdragon Seamless product marketing strategy.

Our industry leading Snapdragon's camera technologies feature AI processing, low-light capabilities, 8K video capture and more and are used in many of the world’s flagship smartphones.

Snapdragon Seamless is a cross-platform technology that enables Android, Windows and devices with Snapdragon platforms to discover each other and share information to work as one integrated system, regardless of operating system or platform.

We’re looking for an experienced and passionate product marketing manager who can help us promote these industry-leading technologies on a global scale. You will be responsible for leading all aspects of product marketing campaigns for our Snapdragon Camera and Snapdragon Seamless technologies, and work with product owners to define our go to market messaging.

We’re looking for a technology enthusiast who can take complex information and build compelling content and stories that will capture the imagination of our customers, partners and consumers. You’ll be able to think strategically and have a proven track record of efficient execution and working with cross-functional teams including PR, Product Management, Digital and others.

The Role Includes

  • Driving key product messaging and launches for Qualcomm’s Camera and Snapdragon Seamless technologies supporting the creation of marketing materials, slideware, and briefing documents.
  • Work with a wide variety of stakeholders, from product management, engineering and various marketing teams to deliver the best outcomes
  • Regular exec/ senior leadership level communication – must be able to communicate concisely and strategically
  • Effectively manage stakeholders to deliver exceptional marketing materials and projects, with the ability to manage complex tasks across the marketing mix
  • Responsibility for sales enablement channels for relevant technologies, ensuring Qualcomm sales and distributors have the most relevant and impactful materials to drive business
  • Expand perception of Qualcomm as a leader in Camera, Connectivity and Personal Audio through expansion of web, social and marketing channel presence


There is a strong preference for this position to be located in San Diego CA, however remote work can be considered.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience.


OR

Associate's degree or equivalent degree and 5+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience.

OR

High school Diploma or equivalent and 7+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience.

  • Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration or related experience.
  • 7+ years Product Marketing or relevant work experience.
  • Familiarity with product positioning/definition/product portfolio development process.
  • A self-motivated team player who can support or lead cross-functional teams as needed, in support of business objectives.
  • Fluent and effective communication skills across cross functional teams, both technical and/or non-technical.
  • Ability to plan and manage complex projects & multi-task.
  • Exemplary writing and presentation skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Consumer Electronics Industry and audio technology.
  • Ability to effectively evangelize technology and products to customers and ecosystem partners.
  • Knowledge of current technology trends in global consumer electronics industry.
  • Proficient communication with all levels of management.
  • Experience with creating/managing messaging frameworks.
  • Ability to develop technical messaging and transform into external facing messaging.
  • Experience creating content (web pages, blog posts, videos, etc.) in support of product launches.
  • Proven success in launching integrated campaigns for technology-oriented products.

Pay Range

$121,000.00 - $182,000.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
