The Product Quality Assurance Engineer ensures the quality, integrity, and consistency of sophisticated printed cards, packaging, and game products. Collaborates consistently alongside Product Engineering, R&D, Brand/Marketing, Suppliers, and Hasbro Far East offices in support of multiple and varying-complexity product lines from concepting stage, through production, and after production to ensure our products meet all standards and objectives.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance procedures and protocols to ensure consistent product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Partner with multi-functional teams, comprising design, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain, to set quality standards and specifications for new products.
  • Conduct detailed inspections and testing of raw materials, components, and finished products to verify compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze data and performance metrics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for continuous improvement.
  • Investigate and address customer complaints and product returns, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
  • Monitor production processes and equipment to identify potential sources of defects or deviations from quality standards, proposing and implementing solutions to mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality and reliability of incoming materials and components used in production.
  • Document and maintain detailed records of quality inspections, test results, and corrective actions taken, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Engage with supply chain partners to establish quality assurance procedures, standard methodologies, and quality control techniques.
  • Stay informed about industry developments, technological advancements, and regulatory changes affecting product quality and quality assurance practices.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Previous experience in print production, quality assurance, quality control, or a similar role within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Solid understanding of quality management systems and quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001), relevant to the industry.
  • Experience in chemical safety testing requirements and CPSC regulations.
  • Global regulatory labeling experience.
  • Proficiency in quality assurance tools and methodologies, such as statistical process control (SPC), failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), and root cause analysis (RCA).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, able to work well with diverse teams and explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical collaborators.
  • Attention to detail and a dedication to upholding high standards of quality and excellence in all aspects of the job.
  • Certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt may be advantageous.

Compensation Range (USD)

Starting: $93,500

Ending: $140,300
