Job Purpose:
The Production Lead position reports directly to the Production/Manufacturing Supervisor. The role is an exciting opportunity to join a global, dynamic, Hi-Tech team, supporting the medical and aerospace industries. We are the industry leader in development and manufacturer of ceramic to metal seals for both Aerospace and Medical markets. We help improve the quality of life with our implantable medical components, and we ensure the safety of travelers by developing multiple components for the Aerospace industry.

Essential Functions:
- Ensure the safety and productivity of all employees and investigate and report all safety incidents.
- Communicates and enforces safety and quality standards and ensures equipment is fully operational.
- In depth understanding of established Morgan values and strategies.
- Perform various tasks as assigned by Department Supervisor.
- Assist with the completion of person, department and company goals.
- Maintain quality and quantity with strong sense of accountability and standards.
- Effectively communicate across all levels of the organization.
- Responsible for meeting daily production targets, monthly shipment goals, and on time delivery performance.
- Complete all relevant documentation.
- Conduct training & own documentation for training.
- Must be able to carry out written, oral, or diagram form instructions.
- Order supplies, enter maintenance requests, and complete payroll time sheets.
- Understand process flow.
- Provide recommendation and be an active participant in continuous improvement projects.
- Basic knowledge of ERP system (Syteline).
- Basic Computer Knowledge (Microsoft Excel).
- Recommend staffing deployment and operating improvements in work methods.
- Effectively maintain clean and safe work place in accordance to 5S policy.
- Ability to motivate others to meet demands.
- Work time flexibility as business requirement changes.
- Monitor job entry signature with correct tools and equipment ID numbers.
- Ensure material traceability is being followed by company policy.
- Relate all new or revised policies, procedures and/or processes to the employees to ensure they have the most-up-to-date and current information and methods.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize and delegate tasks.
- Conduct all tasks in a safe and efficient manner complying with all local, state, and federal EHS regulations and with Morgan New Bedford, MA EHS Guidelines. Guidelines include but not limited to participation in required EHS training and use of proper PPE. Employees are responsible for reporting hazardous conditions and job-related injuries or illnesses to their supervisor.
- Coordinate furnace priorities.
- Coordinate any revised method updates that are in need of replacement and distributed to the floor and update MIR card revision changes.
- Knowledge of all hazardous chemicals in area.
- PPE and proper safety protocol for Ceramics Department.

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Basic Math skills
- This position requires use of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).
- Individual must be a:
- Citizen of the United States, or
- Permanent resident alien of the United States, or
