Position Summary

Orlando Health's Talent Development Department is seeking an experienced Program Manager, who will lead, manage, and coordinate Leadership Development programs, workshops, and related activities to include those that are systemwide and that support regional services and strategies or as assigned by the service line or supported departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitation and Presentation:
  • Proficient in both virtual and in-person facilitation. Capable of delivering engaging content, moderating discussions, and ensuring effective knowledge transfer.
  • Organizational Development:
  • Specialization in leader coaching, team integration, and assessing team dynamics.
  • Acts as a strategic advisor and consultant for site leadership, providing valuable insights through active listening, intake calls, and making informed recommendations.
  • Course Development/Instructional Design:
  • Contributes to the development and management of a leadership program, including cohort-based learning experiences.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

  • Manages, coordinates, and facilitates leadership development programs and related courses in alignment with strategic and operational initiatives as directed.
  • Develops partnerships with a variety of clinical and non-clinical leaders, physicians, advanced practice providers, and team members to support new offerings as assigned.
  • Facilitates effective meetings, workgroups, forums, and committees to ensure leadership development learning needs are being met.
  • Mentors and develops leaders and team members at Orlando Health.
  • Develops plans consistent with the overall strategic goals of the service line, particularly as they relate to the achievement of quality outcomes, learning outcomes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitates and supports a professional environment in which teams are empowered to provide input and share ideas that support the advancement of learning programs and growth.
  • Engages in innovative program management that supports improvement in the work environment for providers and team members while positively impacting patient outcomes.
  • Under the direction of department leader, assesses learning programs and identifies gaps and timelines to execute strategic and tactical initiatives.
  • Incorporates the best evidence through effective research and data analytics that can be applied in the decision-making process for Talent Development goals and objectives.
  • Maintains strong collaborative relationships with physicians, organizational leaders, industry leaders and representatives in the healthcare environment.
  • Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
  • Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Education/Training

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.

Licensure/Certification

None.

Experience

Ten (10) years learning and development and/or leadership development related experience required. Healthcare experience preferred.
