Description

Independent sellers generate approximately 60% of sales in Amazon stores, and each year we spend billions of dollars to improve their experience with services, programs, and tools designed to make running an online business a profitable, sustainable enterprise for sellers of all sizes—from multi-national brands to small businesses down the street.

Outbound marketing is an essential lever used to communicate with our sellers. We're looking for an experienced, detail-oriented program manager to support marketing teams as they drive awareness and discovery of Amazon’s products and services.

In this role, you will lead and execute three key initiatives to help raise the bar of our marketing communications. (1) Global channel governance - oversee approvals and exceptions, work with product to streamline process and work with partner teams to improve outbound communications; (2) Email Bar Raising (EBR) program - analyze, manage, and optimize our EBR program globally as the final check before a send reaches a seller; and (3) UX template global rollouts - we are always seeking to improve the CX of our communications and will broadly launch successful new designs when proved successful.

  • Define, own, and optimize seller-facing outbound marketing channel governance
  • Manage stakeholder relationships to capture business requirements, achieve goal alignment and drive adoption of best practices
  • Partner with marketing resources to ensure we deliver engaging, best-in class campaign content to Amazon sellers
  • Leverage data and insights to identify opportunities for program improvement
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure all automated emails follow best practices and are compliant with CAN-SPAM regulations, data privacy policies, Amazon legal policies

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
  • Pardot certified.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
