A well-established commercial construction firm based in Northern California is looking for a skilled Project Manager to join their Rocklin team. The ideal candidate brings a background in commercial builds, strong billing and scheduling capabilities, and the ability to keep subcontractors accountable. Salary Range: $135,000 - $145,000 / year DOE

Project Manager Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of commercial construction projects, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget from pre-construction through close-out
• Oversee all subcontractor activities, holding teams accountable to performance, safety, and quality standards across multiple job sites
• Manage and review monthly billing, track project costs, and coordinate change orders to ensure accurate financial reporting and timely client invoicing
• Coordinate material procurement and delivery schedules, proactively addressing delays or supply chain issues to keep projects on track
• Conduct regular project meetings with clients, architects, and internal teams to maintain strong communication and resolve potential issues early
• Use project management tools like MS Project and Blue Beam to track progress, manage documentation, and maintain organized project files
• Visit job sites weekly to monitor construction activities, evaluate progress, and provide support to field teams as needed
  
  

Project Manager Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of commercial construction project management experience
• Experience in both ground-up and renovation projects
• Strong knowledge of Blue Beam, MS Project, and Excel
• Comfortable managing subcontractor schedules and billing cycles
• Familiarity with project management systems like Red Team or Autodesk Build
• Preferred experience with grocery store construction or retail builds
• Degree preferred but not required with sufficient relevant experience
