Overview

As a Junior QA Engineer - Automation, you will work alongside senior team members to design and implement automated testing frameworks and scripts to ensure software products meet quality standards and customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Learning and assisting in the design and implementation of automation frameworks: You will work with senior team members to learn and assist in the design and implementation of automation frameworks to support the testing of software applications.
• Assisting in defining test plans and test cases: You will work with senior team members to assist in defining test plans and test cases based on functional requirements and design specifications.
• Identifying and reporting defects: You will identify and report defects using bug tracking tools and processes under the guidance of senior team members.
• Assisting in analyzing test results: You will work with senior team members to assist in analyzing test results to identify trends and issues, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams: You will collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure that products meet quality standards and customer expectations.
• Learning and staying up-to-date with industry trends: You will learn and stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to automation testing.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field 1+ years of experience in automation testing or related field
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar
• Basic programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C#
• Familiarity with API testing, performance testing, and security testing
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

The salary range for this role is $57,500-$72,500 or the hourly equivalent.
