The QC Reviewer II is responsible for performing quality control including daily in-process quality control on various projects and training employees in Laboratory Sciences, including other QC Reviewers. The QC Reviewer II ensures that all project related documentation is filled out accurately and in a timely manner by the analysts and that all procedures are respected as per the company’s SOPs.

What You'll Do Here

  • Trains new QC reviewers and other Laboratory Sciences staff on how to QC tables, reports, notebooks.
  • Assists in performing daily in-process quality control on multiple projects inter-team.
  • Verifies forms/paperwork, reports, and data tables generated by the analysts and scientists.
  • Collaborates with Scientists to ensure tables, reports, and notebooks across a platform are in harmony.
  • In charge of the quality within the laboratory according to GLP, regulatory agencies requirements and internal SOPs.
  • Supports and mentor analysts during the generation of supplementary information forms as needed to ensure documentation accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensures harmonization of techniques, procedures and documentation between analysts in the laboratory.
  • Conducts all work in compliance with applicable SOPs, GCPs, GLPs, and observe all company guidelines and policies.
  • May perform process verification QC: develops processes, executes and reports.
  • Assists in editing/reviewing department specific SOPs and forms to ensure consistency.
  • Assists in archive processes for electronic and physical facility data.


What You'll Need To Succeed

  • College degree and/or University degree in life sciences, engineering, or English preferred.
  • Experience in the medical and/or pharmaceutical fields, or teaching, with typically 2 years of experience in data review and quality control field. Must understand general SOPs and have knowledge of GLP regulations.
  • General to advanced computer skills: proficiency working with MS-Office, Adobe Acrobat, Outlook, Watson.
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain organization in a fast paced, changing environment. Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and cooperatively in a team environment under significant time pressure.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and consistent ability to operate with accuracy and quality. Ability to successfully operate independently with minimal guidelines.
  • Good organizational, attentive to details with respect to sample pretreatment procedures and raw data handling, good communication, able to work with different teams and departments. Strong leadership skills.


What We Offer

The pay range estimated for this position is $22 - $28 hourly. Please note that hourly rates/salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, prior relevant experience, skills, education, certification, location as well as internal equity and market data.
