As a front desk receptionist for Vocational Innovations, you will be the first point of contact for our staff, clients, and guests. The receptionist plays a crucial role in creating and fostering a positive environment for our behavioral management program.

What You Will Do

Provide administrative support to a program. Duties include general clerical, receptionist, and project-based work. Project a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction.

Job Duties

  • Answer the main telephone line and provide general information as well as transfer calls to the appropriate department and staff member.
  • Greet all incoming guests and act as the first point of contact for anyone entering our facility
  • Assist with client enrollment and intake.
  • Track and maintain employee and client records based on a daily, weekly and monthly schedule.
  • Assist the Program Director as needed.
  • Assist in inventory management and purchasing and retrieving of program and site supplies.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, conferences, and on-site events
  • Support staff on project-based work
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including drop offs at UPS and USPS
  • Work independently

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Valid California (CA) driver’s license and DMV printout (good Driving record)
  • Ability to successfully clear Live Scan/background check. **reimbursement after probation period**
  • Must have a TB test clearance.

What We Are Looking For

  • 2 years of administrative experience preferred.
  • Knowledgeable and proficient in MS Office program.
  • Experienced entering data into computer systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to type 40 WPM
  • Ability to maintain a collaborative approach with a high level of ethics, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Proactive approach with the ability to demonstrate flexibility and consistency
  • Advanced ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task
