Recruiter / HR Support - #176238

This position must have a good knowledge of all clerical and specialized functions in the company and a basic understanding of the company's organizational structure. The Recruitment Department’s mission is to find the best candidates for the organization and provide a positive experience for all applicants.

As a member of the Human Resources team, this person also requires a high level of integrity and confidentiality.

Position: Recruiter / HR Support

Pay-rate: $21 p/h

Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm (must be available to work weekends and overstime if needed)

Essential Job Functions

• Promotes job openings at physical locations such as job fairs or communal locations.
• Widens and maintains candidate pool for future opportunities.
• Provide detailed information on available job opportunities to potential candidates.
• Screens and refer qualified applicants to supervisors for interviewing.
• May provide initial screening to obtain work history, education, training, job skills and salary requirements.
• Post all available positions on various employment sites and target by location.
• Experience working in an organization with a predominant hourly workforce.
• Maintains records of recruiting activities as required.
• Meets with managers to discuss vacancies and recruitment efforts.
• Schedules and attends job/career fairs with appropriate staff to generate qualified applicants.
• Must be creative in different forms of attracting applicants.
• Prepare recruitment effort reports for managers’ meetings.
• Must maintain applicant tracking log up to date.
• Detailed review of all applications to ensure they are properly completed.
• Conduct employee drug test upon offer.
• Conducts new hire stay interviews and exit interviews to monitor and make recommendations to management regarding retention and attraction.
  
  

Requirements

• Fluent in English/ Spanish
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organization skills and time management
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with Microsoft Office
