BESCO and Engert are looking to strengthen our organization by adding the best available talent to our staff. We have an immediate opening for a Recruiter/Talent Acquisition Specialist to help source, identify, engage, and recruit individuals for positions across the company with a particular focus on field labor and administrative talent. This individual does not need years of recruiting experience, but must be highly motivated, professional, organized, and willing to learn. The right person will bring a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a desire to help BESCO continue building a strong workforce.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 1+ years’ experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role.
  • Professional familiarity with social media, job recruitment boards, LinkedIn Talent Solutions and professional networks
  • Proficiency in documenting processes, interview records, and keeping current with industry trends
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Occasional travel on a regional basis as needed

Objectives/Responsibilities

  • Use social media platforms, job boards, online networking, community outreach, and other “outside the box” tools to identify and engage potential candidates
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of candidates for current and future hiring needs.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to ensure clear candidate/interviewer expectations and align with short- and long-term business goals of the company’s diverse divisions
  • Assist with posting open positions and promoting career opportunities at BESCO
  • Generate and assist with drafting job descriptions to better align potential candidates with specific positions
  • Identify and refine the most suitable talent from available candidates, recognizing strengths and skills applicable to all open positions
  • Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments, and in-person interviews
  • Ensure end-to-end candidate hiring process is a positive experience
  • Represent BESCO and Engert at job fairs, recruiting events, school visits, and community events
  • Maintain accurate candidate information and recruiting activity in the company’s applicant tracking or HR systems
  • Assist with developing creative recruiting campaigns, social media content, and messaging that highlights BESCO’s culture, career paths, and opportunities

Requirement

  • Valid Driver License (Required)
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Ability to work independently with a strong sense of urgency
  • Fluent in social media platforms
  • Very comfortable with public speaking and networking
