The Role

The Regulatory Affairs Lead is responsible for supporting all brands and locations by working collaboratively with R&D, Program Management, Graphic Arts, Customer Accounts, Supply Chain teams, and external consultants to ensure products and supporting materials meet all domestic and international requirements. The Regulatory Affairs Lead will use their experience in a regulatory environment to ensure our products meet compliance requirements.

What You Will Do

  • Manage safety data sheet authorship, distribution, and change requests.
  • Review and approve consumer product labels to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Execute requirements needed by various certification bodies.
  • Maintain tariff classification and documentation for all products.
  • Continuously improves work processes, productivity, and accuracy of regulatory functions.
  • Interpret business risk and opportunity arising from regulatory issues and proactively generate appropriate responses.
  • Maintain files and registrations for EPA, FDA, and DIN registered products.
  • Keep current on regional and local regulatory requirements with emphasis on USA, Canada, Europe, and Asia.
  • Respond to customer-driven regulatory needs.
  • Leverage relationship with our external consultants to facilitate labeling claims to new or existing products.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of a regulatory framework key to our business strategy.
  • Plan and execute reporting requirements to regulatory bodies.
  • Lead regulatory compliance projects and continuous improvement efforts.

What You Will Bring

  • 7 - 10 years’ experience working in a regulatory environment
  • Proven experience with research, interpretation and implementation of industry standards and regulations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and technical writing skills in a professional environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills in electronic and paper applications
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic and collaborative work environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Chemistry, biology, Toxicology, or related filed preferred) or equivalent experience

Compensation Range

$84,000 - $100,0000

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job related skills, experience, location, and relevant education or training.
