Description
POSITION: Remote Services Supervisor (Note: This is NOT a fully remote position - In person required in Bend, OR)
PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Remote Services Supervisor assists the department managers in ensuring excellent service is provided to members. Lead the Remote Service Representatives (RSR) team to achieve organizational and team goals. Participates in community service groups and functions, promoting credit union products. Motivates, coaches, supports and trains RSR staff. Provides prompt, accurate, and courteous service to members in addition to performing supervisory duties. Backs up RSR and Contact Center services.
REQUIRED SKILLS: Strong time management and prioritization skills. An experienced supervisor with the ability to motivate, influence, and train others. Excellent communication skills using diplomacy and tact. A leader in conflict resolution. Excellent reasoning, patience, and negotiation in solving members' problems, and staff/employee issues. Must be PC-proficient in a Windows environment. Strong technological and digital channel skills.
EXPERIENCE: Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
EDUCATION: (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
STARTING SALARY: Depending on experience

WORK LOCATION: East Bend, Contact Center
PROPOSED SCHEDULE: The work schedule is typically 8:05 a.m. to 5:05 p.m., Monday through Friday with occasional closing shift on Friday. Hybrid option after 6 months if eligible.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Speaking on the telephone approximately 95% percent of workday. May need to shovel snow occasionally outside the office to clear sidewalks, etc.
Continuous sitting, standing, talking, and listening for extended periods of time, use of hands in repetitive tasks such as typing and writing, speaking, and hearing for interaction with members and coworkers, clarity of vision at 20 inches or less for processing of member transactions and computer usage, and memory demands in recalling Credit Union policies, services, and state and federal regulations.
Occasional lifting up to 35 pounds to move supplies or office equipment, bending, squatting, or kneeling to reach supplies on ground level, reaching above shoulder level to reach supplies overhead.

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Employees work in an office environment with average noise levels impacted by computers, printers, scanners, phones, and other surrounding conversations. The credit union is located in Central Oregon and weather during the winter may impact travel. Seasonal fires may impact air quality.
