What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Registered (or registry eligible) by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- Licensed through State of Indiana as a Respiratory Therapist
- Graduated from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Valid Driver’s License & Clean Driving Record
- Ability to travel between South Bend and Fort Wayne areas 2 days a week
- Prior medical/DME experience preferred
- Working closely with Case management to fulfill needs for discharging patients.
- Efficiently set up CPAP devices for patients, ensuring proper installation, calibration, and function.
- Answer all questions regarding equipment, pricing, insurance, etc.
- Process patient personal information for insurance orders
- Maintain open lines of communication between the hospital and Binson's
- Deliver and instruct on the orders throughout hospital/retail store and document in EMR system
- Obtain verbal or written form from physician to process order
- Deliver equipment to patient homes or nearby hospitals using personal vehicle
- Deliver anywhere between Auburn, IN to New Haven, IN
- Cover the Auburn office as needed.
- Participate in b i-weekly on-call availability
