Position Overview: Merchandiser - Ensuring Local Stores Stay Stocked

As a Merchandiser with Davidson Specialty Foods, you will be an important part of ensuring that local grocery stores have fully stocked shelves to continue serving their customers.

Job Description:

• Pay: $18 per hour

• Territory: South New Jersey (Staten Island, Toms River, Pennington, and Philipsburg)

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday (flexibility needed for weekends and holidays)

• Flexible start times: 7:00am - 3:30pm, 8:00am - 4:00pm, 9:00am - 5:00pm

Your Responsibilities:

• Visit local grocery stores and supermarkets in your assigned territory

• Assist with setting up new displays and rearranging existing ones

• Help with packing grocery orders when necessary

• Follow planograms to adjust shelves and manage inventory

• Clean and organize shelves

• Meet assigned deadlines

• Transportation is required for this role

Requirements:

• Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)

• Ability to handle difficult or emotional customer situations

• Willingness to seek customer feedback and improve service

• Effective communication skills

• Ability to read and understand written information and follow simple instructions
