Summary
The qualified Nurse, with experience in similar clinical settings, practices independently and demonstrates awareness of all relevant aspects of patient care. Provides both routine and complex care, plans long-term goals, and manages clinical contingencies. Effectively assigns and delegates tasks to team members to optimize patient outcomes.
Responsibilities include meeting core competencies, utilizing the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation, and addressing the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families. Administers medications and treatments following protocols, monitors effectiveness and side effects, documents care, and educates patients and families about health issues.
Job requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred), at least 1 year of relevant experience, BLS certification, and an RN license in the state or a compact license. The work schedule is to be determined, and the position is full-time.
