Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Executive to join our team in Laredo, Texas. This role will be responsible for supporting business growth by developing and managing strategic customer accounts, from initial relationship-building through ongoing account management. The position focuses on identifying customer needs, presenting value-added solutions, supporting profitability, and helping strengthen TRAYECTO’s presence in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop tailored sales plans for each customer account, aligned with annual sales objectives and business priorities.
- New Business Development: Identify, prospect, and develop new strategic business opportunities with potential customers.
- Commercial and Contract Support: Collaborate with customers and internal teams to support commercial proposals, service agreements, implementation timelines, resource planning, and clearly defined responsibilities.
- Customer Needs Assessment: Proactively identify current and potential customer needs and communicate relevant insights to internal teams to help develop effective solutions.
- Customer Onboarding and Account Administration: Support the accurate onboarding of new customers and maintain ongoing account administration to promote a smooth customer experience.
- Long-Term Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong customer relationships based on trust, consistent communication, and value creation.
- Solution Promotion: Present TRAYECTO’s services and strategic solutions in a consultative manner, helping customers understand how they can support their business objectives.
- Sales Tracking and Reporting: Track sales activity, monitor account performance, and prepare reports for leadership, including opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, customer support, and other internal teams to support a positive customer experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- At least 4 years of proven B2B sales experience, preferably in account management or business development.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Results-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills and professional accountability.
- Knowledge of the Laredo, Texas market and surrounding region is preferred.
- Professional working proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred when relevant to customer and business needs.
- Experience using CRM tools and productivity software, such as Microsoft Office Suite or similar platforms.
- Ability to travel within the region as required by business needs.
- Sales: Strong understanding of sales cycles, closing techniques, and consultative selling strategies.
- Customer Focus: Ability to understand customer needs, build trust, and offer solutions that create value.
- Solution Presentation: Ability to effectively present products and services, highlighting their benefits and differentiators.
