Job Description
We are looking for a Scrum Master to lead and coach our teams to success. This position will be full-time contract and onsite in Miramar, FL .
What You’ll Do
- Establish team metrics such as capacity and throughput
- Track sprint progress and help drive teams to meet their sprint goals
- Build and maintain strong relationships within the team
- Lead and coach teams to achieve successful outcomes
What You'll Need
- At least 7 years of experience in software development delivery with at least 4 years of dedicated full-time Scrum Master experience
- Proven track record of successfully growing and maturing teams or experience leading Agile transformations
- Familiarity with agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile
- Ability to coach and train team members on Scrum framework and related artifacts
- Embody Scrum values and principles
- Understand application of Lean/Agile tools and techniques based on team needs
- Display continuous learning mindset
- Capable of leading distributed and remote teams
- Hold team accountable to agreements and commitments
- Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and transparency
- Knowledge about tasks, backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, user stories, etc.
- Experience in applying Scrum patterns and techniques
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills
- Master of JIRA, Confluence, etc.
- Second or Third Level Scrum Master certification (PSM II, PSM III, CSP, CTC)
- Project Management Professional certification preferred
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationery most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
- Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
