Summary

This role contributes to ensuring 3D print production goals are met efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards and adherence to safety protocols. As a senior team member of operators and technicians, you will oversee equipment performance and collaborate with other departments to drive continuous improvement in 3D printing processes.

Role Description

In this role, you will set up, run, and post-process 3d prints. You will ensure quality standards have been met and ship prints to customers. You will be able to mentor junior team members and partner with site leadership on print farm operations and safety procedures. You are the first line of defense in troubleshooting, and clearly document issues requiring further investigation.

Requirements

  • Experience running various 3D printers
  • Very focused and can operate efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Can smoothly navigate competing priorities, tight deadlines, and last-minute projects
  • Ability to troubleshoot 3D printers and 3D printing processes, and communicate issues as needed to process engineers and the site manager

Work Environment And Physical Demands

  • Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery noise, temperature changes, and particulate materials.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and work on the production floor for extended periods.
  • Lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds as needed.
