This is a full-time hybrid Senior Financial Analyst position located in Minnesota, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Summary
Responsible for providing analytical and financial support to drive growth and provide insight into current performance for Pace using a variety of applications and systems; serves as a financial advisor/liaison to operational and corporate functions.

Bachelor's degree in finance, or a closely related field; AND four (4) years of accounting/financial analysis experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Essential Functions
- Sales Forecasting and Planning:
- Analyze and interpret financial data to support sales strategies and decision-making processes
- Develop and maintain financial models to budget and forecast sales performance and identify trends
- Partner with sales and finance teams to create and implement processes that enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Proactively provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to drive business growth.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Monitor and evaluate the financial performance of sales initiatives and campaigns.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Commissions Management:
- Model and calculate sales commissions, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company policies.
- Develop and maintain commission structures and payout schedules.
- Analyze commission data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with sales management to address commission-related inquiries and issues.
- Analysis & Other Essential Functions:
- Define, create, and maintain sales key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics
- Evaluates results and performs variance analysis.
- Communicates operating performance to business leaders.
- Coordinates the preparation of materials for monthly board packages and meetings.
- Identifies market trends and developments in the industry; makes recommendations to management based on findings to support business development and long-range financial planning.
- Performs financial training for the organization, as needed, to enhance financial acumen.
- Develops financial models using key business drivers and connecting strategic decisions.
- Reviews and evaluates capital expenditure proposals; analyzes large projects post-completion to determine if financial targets/ROIC were met.
- Provides ad-hoc financial consulting to system operations to evaluate opportunities to improve financial performance and ROI, as needed.
- Participates in special projects and strategic initiatives.
- Contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of the department's service to its customers by offering suggestions and directing or participating as an active member of a work team.
- Promotes and supports the overall mission of Pace Analytical by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with customers and staff; acts in a manner that promotes a harmonious and effective workplace environment.
Education and Experience:

- Interpreting, applying, and explaining applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
- Preparing accurate financial, operational, and operational analyses.
- Interpreting, explaining, and applying principles and practices of budgeting, cost/revenue projection, revenue control, and contract administration.
- Advising staff in developing financial goals, KPIs, and measuring operational performance.
- Applying analytical thinking.
- Using initiative and independent judgment within established procedural guidelines.
- Maintaining accurate financial, budgetary and cost control records and preparing accurate and timely reports.
- Working without close supervision in standard work situations.
