Job Description:

Cambria is seeking a visionary Senior Vice President, Artificial Intelligence to lead our artificial intelligence initiatives and drive digital transformation through the research, development, and implementation of AI solutions across Cambria. This leader will focus solely on identifying, developing, and deploying AI solutions to various business challenges and opportunities.

ESSENTIAL ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute emerging AI strategy: Create a comprehensive, long-term AI roadmap for Cambria that aligns with overall technology, data, and business objectives and strategies.
  • Identify AI opportunities: Conduct detailed assessments of business processes to identify key targets for AI implementation. Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand pain points, data dependencies and propose AI-driven solutions.
  • Lead AI project teams: Build and manage a team of AI Architects, Process Optimization Managers and Data Experts focused on AI solutions delivery. Oversee the development, testing, and deployment of AI systems. Establish best practices for AI development and implementation. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the AI team.
  • Collaborate with other departments: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Digital, Operations, Finance, Human Resources and other departments to implement AI solutions. Educate all stakeholders on AI capabilities, data dependencies, and potential impacts. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful AI adoption.
  • Ensure ethical AI practices and compliance: Develop and enforce ethical guidelines for AI use at Cambria. Stay informed about AI regulations and ensure compliance. Address potential biases in AI systems and promote fairness in AI applications.
  • Manage AI budget and resources: Develop and oversee the AI department budget. Allocate resources effectively across various AI initiatives. Evaluate and select AI tools, platforms, and vendors.
  • Stay current on trends: Attend conferences and workshops to stay updated on AI advancements. Establish relationships with market counterparts, academic institutions and AI research centers. Identify emerging technologies that will benefit Cambria.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Successful experience identifying how manufacturing and business practices can be transformed using leading-edge AI solutions.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills and experience supporting a fast-paced, high-demand, complex manufacturing company.
  • Successful experience in demonstrating measurable success in driving AI technology adoption and employee satisfaction.
  • Successful experience delivering AI, Machine Learning (“ML”), and Robotic Process Automation (“RPA”) solutions.
  • Experience with cloud computing.
  • Successful experience working in an agile, lean or SAFe delivery methodology and how that methodology complements a manufacturing organization.
  • Effective listening, summarizing and assessment skills to solve business needs with cross-functional leaders at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent leadership skills and proven experience hiring and developing strong performing, business-minded technologists in roles including AI Architect, Data Scientist, and AI Developer.
  • Excellent written, oral and group presentation communication skills including the ability to articulate solutions in layman’s terms to a wide array of audiences internal and external to the company.
  • Possess a proactive and self-motivated approach toward innovation, business opportunities and inhibitors, needs assessments, feature negotiation and process improvement.

Minimum Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical degree.

Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in technology leadership with 7+ years of experience delivering AI solutions.

Systems: Experience with Artificial Intelligence (“AI”), Machine Learning (“ML”), and Robotic Process Automation (“RPA”).

Travel Requirements: Ability to travel to other locations as needed. Travel will be 10 - 15%.

Cambria’s starting salary range for this position is $202,000 - $264,000. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
