About the Job:
The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Business Development is a key member of the senior leadership team responsible for enterprise-wide strategic planning, market growth, and business development execution across all service lines and levels of care. This leader will oversee all field-based business development functions, marketing, and branding initiatives to ensure alignment with the organization's goals for growth, reputation, and return on investment. The SVP will also manage national business development budgets, referral productivity, and volume/mix strategies while driving data-informed decisions that optimize cost and performance.

The SVP will also manage national business development budgets, referral productivity, and volume/mix strategies while driving data-informed decisions that optimize cost and performance.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all business development, marketing, and branding strategies across the organization, ensuring consistency and alignment with corporate objectives.
- Direct and support field-based business development teams, including target setting, performance tracking, productivity management, and market expansion initiatives.
- Develop strategic growth plans for volume, payer mix, and level of care optimization, in partnership with clinical, operational, and finance teams.
- Oversee all digital marketing, advertising spend, and outreach efforts, ensuring strong ROI and cost-efficiency.
- Guide public relations strategies and external communications to enhance brand awareness and stakeholder engagement.
- Collaborate with the executive team on strategic planning, market development, and execution of special projects.
- Establish and manage KPIs and dashboards to measure effectiveness of business development, marketing, and branding efforts.
- Serve as a senior spokesperson for the organization with external stakeholders, strategic partners, and referral networks.
- Ensure that branding and messaging are consistent across all platforms and align with the company’s mission and market positioning.
- Prepares, recommends and implements department budget.
- Master’s degree preferred in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of executive-level leadership experience in healthcare business development and marketing, with national or multi-state scope.
- Deep knowledge of acute behavioral health and substance use disorder service lines.
- Demonstrated success in driving market growth, brand development, and business development strategy in a healthcare setting.
- Strong command of digital marketing, public relations, and outreach campaigns with an emphasis on measurable outcomes and ROI.
- Skilled in cross-functional leadership, communication, and relationship-building.
