Position Summary:
The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Product is a key executive leader responsible for shaping and driving Myriad’s product vision, strategy, and execution across our molecular diagnostics portfolio. This individual will combine deep diagnostics market knowledge, particularly in molecular oncology, with proven product management leadership to deliver innovative, market-leading solutions. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Commercial, and Executive teams, and demands the executive presence to influence internal and external stakeholders at the highest levels.

Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy and Lifecycle Management:
- Define and execute a forward-looking, commercially driven product strategy aligned with Myriad’s mission and market opportunities.
- Oversee full product lifecycle management from concept to commercialization and post-market optimization, ensuring scientific rigor and customer focus.
- Cross-Functional and Executive Leadership:
- Partner closely with R&D to ensure products are scientifically differentiated and aligned with the latest advancements in biotechnology and molecular oncology.
- Collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, Sales, Regulatory, and Operations teams to translate insights into market-ready, scalable solutions.
- Serve as a critical member of the executive leadership team, providing strategic input on broader company initiatives.
- Market and Scientific Expertise:
- Maintain a deep understanding of diagnostics and molecular oncology market trends, customer needs, reimbursement dynamics, and the competitive landscape.
- Bring a strong scientific foundation to inform product positioning, differentiation, and go-to-market strategy.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Foster relationships with key opinion leaders, academic researchers, and industry partners to inform product development and identify strategic opportunities.
- Represent Myriad Genetics at conferences, industry events, and with strategic collaborators.
- Team Leadership and Talent Development:
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing, market-driven product management team.
- Promote a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and high performance aligned with Myriad’s values.
Education:
- Advanced degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, biotechnology); MBA or business training strongly preferred.
- 15+ years of leadership experience in the diagnostics, molecular oncology, biotech, or life sciences industries.
- Proven track record of executive leadership in product management at a leading molecular diagnostics or oncology company.
- Demonstrated success in launching and managing complex, scientifically-driven products at scale.
- Strong experience bridging R&D and Commercial functions to drive business growth.
- Deep knowledge of the molecular diagnostics market, especially in oncology.
- Outstanding executive presence, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
