The Short Form Editor, Social Content will play a key role in supporting the team to help our artists deliver social media content to their fans. This role provides support to the VP of Digital Marketing and helps with the day to day management of assigned artist projects. Position requires interaction with members of senior management, creative services, and external artist teams.

What you'll do:

  • Support the Digital Marketing team to edit and render engaging video content supplied by artist teams and our creative services department for social / online platforms.
  • Specialize in creating short-form video content that is authentic to individual platforms (including organic video with bubble type on TikTok, pre-roll for digital advertising that meets platform specs, edit music video teasers in a variety of specs like vertical, landscape, square, etc.)
  • Ideate and create compelling ad content for social platforms around single, album, music video releases and other initiatives
  • Research and present best practices for content optimization
  • Follow emerging social trends in real time and flag opportunities to capitalize on these trends quickly with compelling content

Who you are:

  • A self-starter with at least one year of experience creating digital or social media content campaigns across multiple brand voices simultaneously and a proven ability to follow project branding formulated by the Creative Team
  • A creative team member with fluent knowledge of adobe creative suite (Photoshop, Premiere, Final Cut or equivalent editing software) and proficiency in Adobe After Effects and working with kinetic type
  • A detail-oriented individual with an expert understanding of emerging trends and techniques in social content and how it applies to each artist audience
  • An excellent communicator and enthusiastic collaborator who works well with team members, external partners and senior management
  • A highly organized person that prioritizes workload, gives close attention to the details and has a great work ethic
  • An adaptable person that is flexible, with an ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure, and to react quickly to changes
  • An accountable individual with a proven history of combining videos from different sources into consistent and engaging piece(s), as well as a solid understanding of creative positioning, key art/video execution, advertising and entertainment marketing
  • Availability to pivot and lean in outside of standard working hours on occasion to capitalize on trends in a timely manner
