AEGIS Hedging Solutions is seeking an experienced QA Analyst with a strong background in quality assurance and also experience in business analysis. Responsibilities
- Quality Assurance:
- Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project specifications.
- Create and execute manual and automated test cases to identify software defects and ensure product stability.
- Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing to validate software functionality.
- Analyze test results, track issues, and collaborate with development teams to verify bug fixes.
- Document and communicate test findings, defects, and testing progress to relevant stakeholders.
- Participate actively in continuous improvement efforts to enhance the quality assurance process.
- Utilize Reflect software to create and maintain automated regression tests to ensure software stability.
- Identify opportunities for test automation and implement effective strategies using Reflect software.
- Business Analysis:
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
- Assist in analyzing user stories, use cases, and functional requirements to ensure clarity and feasibility.
- Support the creation and maintenance of requirement traceability matrices.
- Assist in conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) by creating test cases and tracking defects.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of business requirements.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a QA Analyst or Business Analyst in a software development environment.
- Proven experience in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and techniques.
- Experience in business analysis concepts and techniques is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with great attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- Familiarity with Scrum Agile development methodologies is a plus.
- Proficiency in automated regression testing using Reflect software is a plus.
