Job Description

AEGIS Hedging Solutions is seeking an experienced QA Analyst with a strong background in quality assurance and also experience in business analysis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and stability of our software products. Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance:
• Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project specifications.
• Create and execute manual and automated test cases to identify software defects and ensure product stability.
• Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing to validate software functionality.
• Analyze test results, track issues, and collaborate with development teams to verify bug fixes.
• Document and communicate test findings, defects, and testing progress to relevant stakeholders.
• Participate actively in continuous improvement efforts to enhance the quality assurance process.
• Utilize Reflect software to create and maintain automated regression tests to ensure software stability.
• Identify opportunities for test automation and implement effective strategies using Reflect software.
• Business Analysis:
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
• Assist in analyzing user stories, use cases, and functional requirements to ensure clarity and feasibility.
• Support the creation and maintenance of requirement traceability matrices.
• Assist in conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) by creating test cases and tracking defects.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of business requirements.
  
  

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a QA Analyst or Business Analyst in a software development environment.
• Proven experience in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and techniques.
• Experience in business analysis concepts and techniques is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with great attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
• Familiarity with Scrum Agile development methodologies is a plus.
• Proficiency in automated regression testing using Reflect software is a plus.
