The role
In the position of Sourcer you will play a critical role in identifying and engaging top talent for Wayve. This position requires a proactive approach and strong research and influencing skills, with the ability to build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates. You’ll work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop effective sourcing strategies to meet these needs.

The role
In the position of Sourcer you will play a critical role in identifying and engaging top talent for Wayve. You’ll work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop effective sourcing strategies to meet these needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand position requirements and develop targeted sourcing strategies.
- Utilise various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking events, and other innovative channels to identify potential candidates.
- Conduct thorough candidate research and talent mapping to build a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
- Engage passive candidates through effective outreach, including emails, phone calls, and messages.
- Screen and assess candidates' qualifications, experience and fit for the organisation, as well as influencing passive candidates to convert to active.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions and sourcing activities in the applicant tracking system.
- Build and nurture relationships with potential candidates to ensure a positive candidate experience and long-term engagement.
- Stay informed about industry trends, talent market insights, and competitive intelligence to improve sourcing strategies.
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to continuously identify opportunities for improvement in our processes and tools.
In order to set you up for success as a Sourcer at Wayve, we’re looking for the following skills and experience.
Essential
- Proven experience in a sourcing or a recruitment role, preferably within the technology industry.
- Research and sourcing skills, confident using various sourcing tools and platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage, build relationships with and influence candidates.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with recruitment marketing and employer branding strategies would be advantageous.
