Key Responsibilities
Lead and inspire a team of Category Managers and support staff to achieve excellence in category management activities.
Drive sales and margin growth through innovative strategies and effective negotiation with vendors.
Act as a strategic liaison between our company and key stakeholders, representing our interests with confidence and professionalism.
Develop and implement category management programs that elevate our brand and drive customer satisfaction.
Stay ahead of industry trends and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the team, providing mentorship and guidance to unlock their full potential.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum five years of experience in category management, with a track record of success in driving results.
Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and empower others to achieve their goals.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in data analysis and financial reporting, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
Willingness to travel as needed to support business objectives.
