Job Summary
The Strategic Planning function at Cemex formulates the long-term direction of the business. It has a central role to develop and execute projects that create shareholder value. The team focuses on identifying and analyzing long-term opportunities, strategically positioning the US business to optimize these prospects.
The Senior Regional Planning Analyst is an integral role within the Strategic Planning team with exposure to overall Company operations and senior management.

The Senior Regional Planning Analyst is an integral role within the Strategic Planning team with exposure to overall Company operations and senior management.
Job Responsibilities
- Financial planning, forecasting and analysis, modeling and budgeting
- Support the business in developing strategic projects, their financial analysis and their implementation
- Assist with capital expenditure planning, budgeting and forecasting activities
- Prepare, consolidate and review reports and presentations for Senior Management
- Assist management with efforts to track and manage operational performance exposure
- Bachelor degree Finance, Business, Engineering, or Accounting preferred
- 2-5 years’ experience (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and desire to advance within the company
- Business analytics preferred but not required
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint skills required
- Power BI or Tableau skills preferred Prioritize, handle multiple tasks and work in a fast paced and high volume environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong sense of urgency, detail oriented and ability to drive results
- Basic Accounting knowledge is a plus
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to maintain and handle confidential information
- Capable to work extended hours as needed
- Capable of working in an open concept office environment
- Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree
- Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently. Job involves sitting most of the time, but also involves walking or standing for brief periods of time
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees/visitors
