Storekeeper II - #262695

Iowa State University Dining is seeking a Storekeeper II to support dining facility operations to keep things flowing on the backend. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated and hard-working team and contribute to a fast-paced, structured environment that values your organizational skills and time management.

Responsibilities

Storeroom Operations

• Take charge of daily operations in an always-moving warehouse-style environment within a campus dining facility. Maintain flow, structure, and organization throughout the space.

Delivery & Inventory Management

• Receive and organize early morning food and supply deliveries. Monitor inventory, rotate stock, and ensure all items are accurately stored and well-maintained.

Cold Storage Oversight

• Oversee coolers, freezers, and dry storage areas to maintain safe and efficient food storage conditions.

Kitchen Collaboration

• Work closely with kitchen staff and students to coordinate supply needs, prep flow, and ensure operations run smoothly from delivery to service.

Operational Tasks

• This role involves hands-on work with deliveries and storage, including tasks that may require lifting, moving, or organizing supplies across multiple areas.

Qualifications

• One year of work experience in storekeeping, accounting, business administration or job related work, or any combination of such experience and post high school education that totals one year.
• Possession of appropriate drivers license as required.
