What You Will Do

Dermalogica is seeking a creative and driven Strategic Growth Senior Manager to identify, analyze, and launch new expansion initiatives within the Partnership Schools channel that optimize revenue potential and ensure long-term sustainability for Dermalogica. Rooted in forward-thinking business strategy, market expansion, and data-driven innovation, this role blends high-level strategic planning with selective, targeted sales engagement.

Unlike traditional account or program management, this role focuses on future-focused initiatives—unlocking new opportunities, launching targeted programs and locations, and elevating Dermalogica’s brand presence across esthetic, cosmetology, and broader educational institutions. The Strategic Growth Manager will lead the Partnership School channel, collaborate closely with internal teams, and manage the Associate Manager, Partnership Schools, to ensure seamless execution and strategic alignment.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Growth Planning

  • Identify, analyze, and prioritize new market opportunities through competitive research, demographic analysis, and trend forecasting
  • Develop business cases for geographic, channel, or programmatic expansion, including financial modeling and timeline planning

Sales Strategy & Initial Execution

  • Lead early-stage outreach and sales conversations with prospective partner schools or strategic accounts to validate demand and secure initial commitments
  • Create pitch materials, value propositions, and partner engagement strategies to support market entry
  • Partner with marketing and education teams to align sales strategy with go-to-market execution

Cross-Functional Growth Projects

  • Manage cross-departmental initiatives to launch new Undergraduate School locations or pilot programs
  • Translate strategic goals into actionable project plans with defined milestones, ownership, and KPIs

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Establish performance metrics for new growth initiatives and report regularly to leadership on progress, insights, and recommended adjustments
  • Leverage CRM systems, analytics tools, and field feedback to refine growth strategies

Team Leadership & Channel Development

  • Serve as a strategic partner to leadership, contributing to planning cycles, resource prioritization, and innovation pipelines
  • Manage and develop the Associate Manager, Partnership Schools, to ensure goal alignment and effective execution
  • Champion a growth mindset and entrepreneurial culture within the Partnership School team

Education and Experience:

BA/BS preferred with a minimum 4-7 years of professional experience in business development, strategic growth, partnerships, or channel sales, ideally within the professional education, beauty, wellness, or retail sectors. Proven track record in developing and launching new programs that drive revenue growth. Previous experience managing direct reports and cross-functional project teams. Partnership School account management preferred.

Other Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate across diverse teams and departments
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a track record of navigating challenges and removing obstacles to achieve objectives
  • Conceptual thinker who can synthesize data and insights into cohesive strategies or recommendations
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure while consistently meeting deadlines
  • Exceptional execution skills, with the ability to turn strategic plans into actionable steps and deliver results on time and within scope
  • Innovative and resourceful, demonstrating creativity and a proactive mindset when facing new challenges
  • Strategic and adaptable, able to build long-term plans while remaining flexible and responsive to evolving needs or circumstances
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%
