Summary

Lidl US is searching for the next Supply Chain Analyst to join our Import - Wholesale team! The Supply Chain Analyst - Import is responsible for ensuring products are ordered and delivered in a timely manner. This role requires data-driven decision making, strong attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills. The Supply Chain Analyst - Import liaises with multiple internal and external stakeholders to communicate any potential issues that could jeopardize the delivery of a product.

What You’ll Do

Essential Functions

  • Oversees and manages assigned project and/or departments data, ensuring it meets predetermined contractual or policy requirements
  • Conduct data entry and data management for various department projects
  • Assist with the development of training materials such as manuals, handbooks, presentations, diagrams, workflows, and project plans
  • Place orders in an accurate and timely manner
  • Monitor Inbound shipments and establish priorities based on business needs
  • Execute Inventory Control activities
  • Operate and utilize various Enterprise applications & systems including SAP ERP, WMS Systems and other software
  • Demonstrate solid understanding of the company’s processes, systems and team’s KPIs
  • Support complex projects without errors in deadline-driven environment
  • Communicate with internal and external departments to ensure accurate and timely delivery of product
  • Assist with the development of manuals, handbooks, and reports
  • Support process optimizations
  • Update and maintain department's KPIs
  • Prepare data for 4-Eye release principle
  • Identify possible stock issues and recommend measures to mitigate risk
  • Understand relevant import regulations in detail and act accordingly
  • Identify and escalate issues proactively in a timely manner
  • Train or guide the work of other team members as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Solid understanding of ordering, replenishment, and logistics principles
  • Ability to work on different projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to respond effectively to changing workloads and conflicting priorities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Familiarity with grocery industry and relevant legal requirements
  • Familiarity with SAP ERP Systems

Required Education, Certifications/ Licenses, Related Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-3 years of experience in a related field
  • In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience in related field will meet the education and related experience requirements listed above

Physical Job Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time

Travel Requirements

  • This position requires overnight domestic and international travel less than 25% of the time
