Position Description
As a Supply Chain Planner at Applied Medical, you will support production planning and inventory management by monitoring production schedules, lead times, and inventory levels. This role involves generating shop orders based on ERP requirements, maintaining safety stock levels, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product availability and operational efficiency.

Position Description
As a Supply Chain Planner at Applied Medical, you will support production planning and inventory management by monitoring production schedules, lead times, and inventory levels. This role involves generating shop orders based on ERP requirements, maintaining safety stock levels, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product availability and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain adequate stock of finished goods, semi-finished goods, and raw materials.
- Generate shop orders and purchase requisitions using SAP (ERP).
- Collaborate with Clinical Development, Customer Relations, and other stakeholders to address inventory-related issues.
- Develop and maintain the production schedule.
- Identify opportunities to reduce backorders and improve customer service.
- Escalate stock availability concerns and prepare recovery plans.
- Provide ad hoc reporting as needed.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Familiarity with supply chain planning, inventory control, and production scheduling.
- Prior SAP experience.
- MS office - advanced level in excel.
