Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Hybrid – Onsite Tuesday to Thursday)

Duration: 6–8 month contract with strong potential for extensions

Overview

A leading global technology company is seeking a Supply Planner to join their service supply operations team. This is a critical role focused on managing supply plans, capacity planning, and vendor collaboration to ensure service parts availability and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain weekly and monthly supply plans to support service operations.
• Manage capacity planning, material planning, and vendor forecasting to align supply with operational requirements.
• Interface regularly with contract manufacturers and regional planning teams to manage supply needs and ensure continuity.
• Analyze demand fluctuations and adjust supply plans accordingly to maintain optimal inventory and safety stock levels.
• Execute against strict deliverable deadlines — heavy operational focus Monday–Thursday, meeting-heavy Fridays.
• Support additional ad hoc supply planning projects as needed.
  
  

Qualifications

• Strong Excel skills required for data analysis, planning models, and reporting.
• 3+ years of experience in supply chain planning, material planning, or capacity planning roles.
• Experience collaborating with contract manufacturers (CMs) and managing supplier relationships.
• Proven ability to manage multiple planning deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners.
  
  

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with SAP PD2 or other ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
• Background in service parts planning or retail supply chain environments.
