Talent Acquisition Operations Workday Specialist / Contract / Remote

Durham, NC

100% Remote

Contract

$77.5/hr - $80.17/hr

Our global SaaS client seeks a contract Talent Acquisition Operations Workday Specialist . This is a fully remote role.

Our client is seeking a contract Talent Acquisition Operations Workday ATS Consultant to support our core TA Enablement team. This is a non-configuration, operations-focused role for someone with strong functional knowledge of Workday Recruiting (ATS) and deep experience in recruiting process design, documentation, testing, and implementation support.

This consultant will work across multiple recruiting workstreams to help define, map, and improve TA processes — while supporting the successful implementation and adoption of Workday ATS. You will act as a hands-on extension of the Enablement team, contributing to discovery sessions, documentation, user testing, and enablement resources. This is not a technical or systems admin role, but you must understand how the technology works and how process decisions impact both user experience and downstream systems.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and experienced TA operator who can anticipate cross-functional impacts, understands recruiter and hiring manager workflows, and thrives in fast-paced, change-driven environments.

Contract Duration: 12-Months

Required Skills & Experience

  • Extensive hands-on experience with Workday Recruiting (ATS) — specifically in workflow design, implementation support, user testing, and documentation (non-configuration).
  • Proven background in TA Operations, TA Enablement, or Recruiting Process Design, with a strong focus on execution and stakeholder support.
  • Experience conducting first-round user testing and writing test scripts that reflect real-world recruiting workflows.
  • Strong ability to assess upstream and downstream impacts of recruiting decisions and process changes.
  • Clear communicator with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive execution in fast-paced environments.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience supporting or enabling additional recruiting technologies such as BrightHire, HiredScore, and Paradox during implementation or rollout.
  • Familiarity with AI tools or automation solutions in the recruiting ecosystem.
  • Comfort working in high-growth, matrixed environments and managing input from global stakeholders.

What You Will Be Doing

Daily Responsibilities

  • Support multiple TA workstreams during Workday Recruiting (ATS) implementation and post-launch optimization — from discovery to execution (non-configuration).
  • Partner with stakeholders to document current-state processes and design future-state workflows based on system capabilities and best practices.
  • Map full recruiting lifecycle processes including requisition creation, job approvals, candidate movement, and offer generation.
  • Lead first-round functional testing of Workday ATS workflows — execute test scripts, log results, identify gaps, and provide structured feedback.
  • Write clear and comprehensive user test scripts in collaboration with Enablement and HR Tech teams.
  • Translate process and testing findings into actionable documentation — including process flows, decision trees, job aids, training guides, FAQs, and rollout resources.
  • Support change adoption by building usable, recruiter-facing documentation and enablement tools.
  • Work cross-functionally with TA, HR Tech, Legal, and People Ops partners to ensure alignment and coverage across all relevant stakeholders.
  • Track progress of deliverables, flag blockers, and help drive timely completion of assigned work.
  • Support the broader TA Enablement function in delivering process clarity, documentation, and technology adoption across regions and teams.

You Will Receive The Following Benefits

  • Medical Insurance - Four medical plans to choose from for you and your family
  • Dental & Orthodontia Benefits
  • Vision Benefits
  • Health Savings Account (HSA)
  • Health and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts
  • Voluntary Life Insurance, Long-Term & Short-Term Disability Insurance
  • Hospital Indemnity Insurance
  • 401(k) including match with pre and post-tax options
  • Paid Sick Time Leave
  • Legal and Identity Protection Plans
  • Pre-tax Commuter Benefit
