About the Opportunity

Tropicana’s Talent Acquisition department is focused on delivering a seamless, high‑quality hiring and onboarding experience that supports business growth and employee success. We are seeking a Talent Operations Analyst to support interview logistics, new‑hire onboarding, and orientation while ensuring a smooth and compliant experience from offer acceptance through Day One. The Talent Operations Analyst may also support in other departmental projects and processes.

The Perfect Blend:

  • Coordinate phone, virtual, and in‑person interviews, including calendar management and interviewer/candidate communication
  • Arrange and manage candidate travel for interviews, ensuring a positive candidate experience
  • Initiate and manage new hires through UKG Onboarding, monitoring completion of required tasks
  • Coordinate start‑date alignment, onboarding readiness, orientation scheduling, Day‑1 communications, while tracking start dates, volumes, and completion.
  • Complete and reverify I‑9s in compliance with federal requirements and act as the first on‑site point of contact for new hire HR questions related to onboarding, benefits, policies, and employment basics.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation for the Chicago office
  • Be the point person for vendor management, invoicing, and budgeting support for the Talent department
  • Support other Talent or HR team projects, as needed

Foundational Ingredients:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience supporting talent acquisition, HR coordination, onboarding, or recruiting operations in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and scheduling skills with the ability to manage multiple interviews, calendars, onboarding activities, and competing priorities simultaneously
  • Experience coordinating candidate travel, expenses, interview logistics, and delivering a high-quality candidate experience
  • Knowledge of onboarding processes, I-9 completion and reverification requirements, and general HR compliance practices
  • Experience working with HRIS or applicant tracking systems and onboarding modules, with UKG experience strongly desired but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with candidates, hiring managers, vendors, stakeholders in other departments, and employees at all levels
  • High attention to detail with strong follow-through, problem-solving, and administrative skills, including tracking data, managing invoices, and maintaining accurate records
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future
  • Must be located in Chicago, IL or surrounding area or willing to relocate for the duration of employment
  • Travel up to 10% to other Tropicana locations or recruiting related functions, as needed

The base salary range for this position is $59,000 – 80,000 annually.
